To launch the return of Black Ops 6, one of the most anticipated Call of Duty games yet, we brought back one of the biggest icons to help pump fans up…

THE REPLACER

His job? To Replace your daily whatnots so you could focus on playing Black Ops 6.

For us, he took over Activision for a day, spreading hype across every platform and social feed across all of Call of Duty.

 

First, The Replacer made fans wonder what the eff was going on by live-streaming a live-stream that, well… shouldn’t have gone live…

 
 
 
 
 
 

Then, The Replacer let the world know that he was the boss of Activision now, ripping across social feeds the only way he knew how…

 

He posted random numbers left on his desk that fan’s freaked out over (Spoiler: They were free codes for the game)

 

Tagged XBOX with a new, totally awesome mnemonic they could use…

 

Tweeted a picture of a cat…

 

Changed the key art on a couple of OOH billboards…

 

Tagged XBOX again with another BRILLIANT and fleshy… umm… idea…

 

Hit up XBOX GAME PASS with some reco list adjustments…

 

Replaced the in-game character, Graves, from a tired Warzone cinematic players were sick of…

 

And finally, when the job was done (or security asked him to leave), he said goodbye.
