From the debut of a brand new Warzone Map — “Area 99,” to exciting fans to new features, weapons, and IP partnerships, we created engaging assets throughout the year across social and digital.
It all started with getting fans pumped to jump into AREA 99, an all-new Warzone Resurgence map that set players within the ruins of a rusted military complex from the nuclear age. So we leaned into Area 99’s retro host, Archie Atom, to welcome them all and give them a couple of tips.
Then, of course, with the success of The Replacer Campaign, The Replacer had to take over a whole Area 99 player lobby too...
We then continued to celebrate all of the new updates coming to Black Ops 6, by fully recreating (and then blowing up) the iconic Multiplayer Map “NukeTown” completely out of gingerbread, letting every player Terminate their foes, and more.
